The importance of social entrepreneurship

Teaching students entrepreneurship is the catalyst that students need to become problem-solvers of the future. We believe in teaching social entrepreneurship to help plant the seed to get them to think intentionally about how they can make a tangible, positive social impact in their future careers, and on their communities and the world.

In this course, students will learn the following:

  • Root-Cause-Analysis (RCA) to identify a pressing problem in their local communities

  • Create a solution that will make a positive impact on the problem they identify in their communities

  • Leverage core principles of Design Thinking to validate their startup ideas through User Interviews, Alpha-Beta Testing, and more

  • Build an Entrepreneurial Mindset

  • Utilize Stakeholder Analysis

  • Learn the basics of Financial Literacy and effective Pricing strategies

  • Implement effective Marketing Strategies needed to reach customers

  • Analyze their Competitive landscapes and understand how they can differentiate their companies from others already out there in the market

  • Build a business model

  • Build their own websites

  • Give a “Shark Tank” business pitch, leveraging effective storytelling strategies to enhance their public speaking skills

At the end of every year, Fulphil also hosts multiple regional competitions where top students from our schools compete against each other!
